Set against a backdrop of political corruption, societal collapse, and a powerful corporation exploiting those with psychic and physical mutations—known as Talents—the stakes in this story are sky-high, and Nevermore pulls no punches in delivering an intense and heart-pounding ride.

Flynn Scot, a reluctant leader, is thrust into a position of power to protect not just his loved ones but the entire population of Talents in the North. His character embodies resilience, but it’s the vulnerability he shows in trying to balance family, leadership, and the psychological weight of his past that makes him so compelling.

Kara Jester’s journey is equally captivating. Thrown into the chaos of a new society, her sense of displacement feels incredibly raw. Nevermore masterfully explores Kara’s internal battle, which is as gripping as the external threats surrounding them.

What makes Binder stand out is the expertly woven political intrigue and societal collapse in Glynfyls. The Assembly’s corruption, the grisly murders, and the abductions creating panic in the city make for an electrifying setting.
