What if the man stalking you worked in IT—at the police department?

Told with brutal honesty, Unfollow Me exposes the silent terror of stalking through one woman’s unflinching account. Kathryn Caraway’s story grips from the first page, revealing a chilling reality of modern surveillance, intimate partner abuse, and the systemic failures that let predators hide behind technology.

From ignored police reports to exhausting court battles, Kathryn’s fight for safety becomes a story of survival, courage, and resilience.

Because stalkers don’t just hide in the shadows anymore.

🔍 The True Story

Kathryn meets Todd—a charming IT expert for the police department.

A brief relationship turns into a nightmare when Todd’s obsession crosses into something far darker.

He’s not just watching her.

He’s inside her life.

He sees her text messages. He tracks her car. He listens from her own network.

And he tells her why:

“You are mine. And I don’t share.”

When Todd asks if she wants to see death coming, Kathryn says no.

But now, she waits for it every day.

As she gathers the evidence law enforcement ignored, Kathryn uncovers something even more terrifying—Todd might be connected to an unsolved murder. And if she’s right… she could be next.

🔥 He Follows Me

By Kathryn Caraway

Genre: Thriller, Suspense

When reality becomes too horrifying, sometimes fiction is the only way to fight back.

He Follows Me is the fictional follow-up to Unfollow Me—a chilling thriller that blurs the line between survival and vengeance.

Kathryn thought the nightmare ended with a conviction.

She was wrong.

Todd Bennett is being released. And he hasn’t forgotten her.

The government offers her a lifeline—new name, new life, new country—but safety is an illusion. When U.S. Marshal Wes Kade steps in, his cold efficiency and relentless drive to protect her begin to fracture as he realizes this case is different. This isn’t just personal.

It’s war.

A gripping psychological thriller where survival isn’t about running—it’s about fighting back.

    • I definitely prefer to write later in the day. With work and kids, it’s the only time I actually get quiet. There’s something about the stillness of night that makes it easier to focus — like everything else fades out for a bit. I know staying up isn’t always the best for creativity, but honestly, it’s when I feel most at peace and connected to what I’m writing. I’d also love to hear Kathryn’s take on this one — I’m always curious how other writers balance their creative time!

    • I really don’t have a preference other than after the coffee has kicked in. When I’m editing, I can always tell the parts I wrote first thing in the morning. Those bits tends to read a big sluggish, which is understandable because that’s how I feel before coffee.

    • Right? The cover definitely caught my attention too — the author absolutely nailed the vibe with this one! Her writing style matches it perfectly, and I’ve been loving it so far. I’ll have my review for book one up later this week, so keep an eye out! 💀📚

    • Oof, writer’s block is the worst. I’m sure when Kathryn gets the chance, she’ll be able to answer. I know for me personally, I try to step away completely. As much as I love reading, sometimes the best reset is just being present somewhere peaceful — for me, that’s always by a lake. It’s the one place I can actually talk to myself without feeling overwhelmed. I’ve learned that sometimes the hardest thing to do is nothing, but it helps. I also keep a notebook nearby and jot down whatever nonsense comes to mind — even if it’s ridiculous, it keeps the words flowing.

    • When I get writer’s block, I start baking. And when I start baking, I eat. And when I eat sweets, I feel guilty and try to go longer on the treadmill (keyword = try). Vicious, vicious cycle. But I’ve had many “aha!” moments on the treadmill that turned out to be great for my storyline.
